This is a one-session discussion class on flavor perception and preferences. Why do some people prefer chocolate and others prefer vanilla? Do some people hate chocolate because it actually tastes different to them? What makes chocolate taste the way it tastes? Can we ever know what chocolate tastes like to others people? What about animals, robots, or aliens?
