This is a one-session class in which students learn how to perform a vanishing card trick, and learn how the brain’s attentional resources allow us to be fooled by such magic tricks. This can be taken as a stand-alone class or as part of a series on Magic and the Mind, a super fun way to learn that things aren’t always as they appear and learn about the workings of the brain that allow us to be fooled!
