Meets on Zoom, Sunday January 31st, 11am-noon Pacific Time (2pm Eastern).

This is a one-session online discussion class about robots and emotions. We will begin with a few observations about brains, robots, and emotions. We will then have an informal discussion about the main question, If you were to discover that your granny (or any other relative) was in fact a robot, would you still think she (they) love you? After exploring the question informally, we will have a formal inquiry using the Inquiry Diagram shown on this page to explore the question.

****Note: For this class to work, we must have at minimum 3 students enrolled. If this minimum is not reached by 48 hours prior to the session, we will cancel and issue a full refund.
